• Remedial conservation of objects and their surfaces and structures, addressing issues such as discolouration, biological activity, structural instability, unstable decorative surfaces, detached elements and losses.

• Preliminary condition assessments of an object's surface and structural condition, identifying areas of deterioration and recommending appropriate conservation treatment.

• Collections care and preventive conservation, including advice on environmental conditions, display, protective casing and covering, with the aim of preventing further deterioration.

• Collection care and documentation, including condition checking, photographic documentation, environmental monitoring and advice relating to the safe handling, storage and movement of objects.
