All About BROMOVSKYCONSERVATION
Anastazia Bromovsky has worked for many renowned institutions
and collections preserving and restoring precious objects
at the Guildhall Art Gallery, National Trust Conservation
Studios, Eton College and Chatsworth House, Derbyshire aswell
as for private collectors both in the UK and abroad.
Specialising in stone, wood, gilding & decorative surfaces. She uses
minimal interventive techniques to ensure that the spirit and essence
of the original craftsmens’ intentions are honoured, while carefully
preserving the history of an object and its unique journey
contributing to what we see today. She works closely and
sympathetically with owners and to enhance the relationship of the
between a collector and his collection.
This involves ethically executed treatments, stabilising a structure or decorative surface and assessing display conditions, in order to prevent any further deterioration. Anastazia using conservation grade materials and traditional techniques ensuring long term stability.
By passionately working to an ethical/authentically and high standard, she prides herself on the taking part in the preservation of history through objects.
Before graduating in Object Conservation Studies at City and Guilds in 2021, Anastazia worked in the contemporary art world in events, administration and as a researcher for the Lisson Gallery, TJBoulting gallery, a-i-r: Art Ideas Realised cultural advisors, and the Ottoman Collection, fashion designer.
